About
An industrial centrifuge machine is a large-scale industrial device that uses high-speed rotation to separate components of a mixture based on their density, such as separating solids from liquids or two different liquids from each other.By exerting centrifugal force, which can be thousands of times stronger than gravity, it forces denser substances to the outer edge of a rotor while lighter components move towards the center, allowing for efficient separation for industrial processes in various sectors like food, pharmaceutical, and chemical manufacturing.
Working principle
- An industrial centrifuge spins a mixture at high speeds within a container or drum.
- The resulting centrifugal force pushes denser or heavier particles to the outer perimeter of the rotating container.
- Lighter components are displaced and move towards the center.
